Between everything you learned in kindgegarten and from top ten lists, you are a regular humble know-it-all.
After reading them for awhile you become a "real character."
Getting number six when your entry was the funniest builds character. At least that's what I keep telling myself.
You endure one inane entry after another, just like surviving water torture.
Every monday and thursday morning (or afternoon) our patience is tested.
They strengthen belief in our existence: "I think, therefore I am funny."
The constant rejection of your best lines prepares you for the dating scene.
